Wait, what the what? Why would anybody want that? I guess so the console window doesn’t show up. The key to this mystery was the following sentence from the Sublime Text 2 reference wiki: To my surprise, it worked! The feature apparently wasn’t really broken, just selective. Then one time I tried running another non-GUI Python script from Sublime Text. However, nothing ever happened, and I thought the feature must be broken. For example, when I’m at work in my lab, I often make small changes to my laser beam profiling program (although really it’s more of a camera driver right now I haven’t found an excuse to actually write any Gaussian profiling code.) As far as I could figure out, I ought to be able to press Ctrl+ B in Sublime Text to run the program. One thing that confused me is that I couldn’t get any of my Python GUI code to work on it. (Although in that case, I’d more likely try to convince my boss to let me work on a platform where I could run Gedit.) I’m not convinced yet that it’s worth $60 for a license - I’d probably pay $25, come on, it’s a text editor - but perhaps if I got a job where I needed text editors more often, I’d try to convince my boss to spring for it. (Although it looks like something may be done about that soon.) Sublime works really well and has a distraction-free mode, and the extensibility is amazing. You can change three variables (d, λ, and θ) to see how they effect the diffraction.I’m trying out Sublime Text 2 as a code editor on Windows, since there really aren’t any other free ones I like unfortunately, my favorite free editor, Gedit, is abysmal on Windows. On the street, it's not unreasonable to think the handling differential could have amounted to the difference between an uneventful commute and a ride home in a tow truck. In my experience, while the Generals weren't good, the Yokohamas felt particularly ham-fisted in the wet, and I found myself having to significantly adjust my attacks to avoid massacring a grip of cones. But putting some of the handling differences in the context of real world situations-wet entrance ramps, say-made for some scary scenarios. I'm not going to say that sliding around sideways in a parking lot isn't a kick in the pants. Being able to feather the Mustang around the bends with my right foot-without worrying about taking out a row of cones in front of my colleagues-was a total blast, and I built more confidence with each run.ĬHECK OUT: 500-WHP 311RS Evo X Spec Blew Previewed At Twin Cities Auto Show While all of the tires exhibited some slippage, the BFGs-with their squared off shoulders and water-clearing V-treads-were hands down best at delivering the combination of grip and predictability which provides the kind feedback you need to corner effectively. Hurling a pony car through tight turns is always a hoot, and this time was no exception. I began on the wet track in a 2015 V-6 Mustang, and cycled between cars shod with the COMP-2s, Yokohama's AVID ENVigor and General's G-Max. Now, given the last time I evaluated a BFG tire-the off-road KO2-it was on a protracted torture test down in Baja California, I figured we'd all get plenty of wheel time. So to demonstrate that its new all-season g-Force COMP-2 is more than a collusion of compromises, BFGoodrich recently brought a group of journalists out to Phoenix International Raceway to see how the new rubber performed on the track-and against the competition. That said, as fantastic as they might feel on a sun-baked Malibu canyon road, six months out of the year, most of America isn't going to have a lot of use for a super-sticky rubber with a single-digit treadwear rating.ĪLSO SEE: Clarkson So Upset With BBC He May Quit 'Top Gear': Punch, Cry, Run? I do have Stranded Deep on my tentative list of games to check out in the future, so I'll take that as a positive recommendation lol.Nothing in the game tells you this. I agree, switching between different aspects of the game helps keep it interesting. It's been a long time since I've put as much time into any one game as I have with either of the Subnauticas. I've kind of not played any BZ for the past week. Figured it would be simpler than moving and rebuilding attached pieces so I can add another multipurpose room each time I run out of space, and keep things more centralized.īut to be honest I've been playing Stranded Deep lately u_u My gosh that gave is shallower than Below Zero but it makes me feel uneasy in way Subnautica never did. I have a perfectly functional network of multipurpose rooms, but I was trying out a base with large rooms for the first time. Originally posted by Pumathang:It IS mainly a preference issue, just wondering if it was possible or not. The time it takes me to "story board" a base and plan it out can either be a short endevour or a long one, as while i'm doing this and out gathering more resources I may get a new spark idea for a base I pass by, and since I've already planned out the design I'm working on, I can put that on hold and go work on my new idea.Īs I work on that new idea it cements into my mind, and when I've done a "starter job" on that idea or more modifications, I can go back to my other task so that it won't get too boring or dreary.īut to be honest I've been playing Stranded Deep lately u_u My gosh that gave is shallower than Below Zero but it makes me feel uneasy in way Subnautica never did. Rather than focus purely on one or the other, or even rather than focusing on one at a time, I flip flop and balance the two. I try to mix and match between building for utility purpose and building for roleplay pleasure. I'd be ok with large room ACs costing twice as much resources, since they give us twice as much room without needing to stack upward, and give us twice as much space to plant marine flora. Unless it's something big like a Crypto or Rockpuncher or Glow Whale, there's no point in having a large AC to do that with. Say, fill up one AC with a single species of fish, for example. Rather than 2 large ACs I'd like to put 4 smaller ACs, as kind of like a specimen housing facility. I would agree with you, I too would like the option to place "single" slot AC units in a large room. By the time I get around to optimizing the primary base, there's way too many materials and no place to put them, so I just keep building. at first I don't have enough of them, so I can't build out a whole base, and everything just gets thrown together. Space and resources are ALWAYS a problem for me (and plenty of others) in the normal game. Figured it would be simpler than moving and rebuilding attached pieces so I can add another multipurpose room each time I run out of space, and keep things more centralized. It IS mainly a preference issue, just wondering if it was possible or not. It's not a matter of space or resources it sounds like a preference issue. Am I missing something obvious, or is it just not possible to do this the way I was thinking? Is there a way to switch between them? I only see one in the menu, and it takes the same amount of resources, despite being twice as big (but presumably it's a separate object entirely because it initially did not have the planter programmed into it like the circular one, according to old posts that popped up when I googled).Īs awesome as it is to build a giant mega-aquarium in the large room, especially in freedom mode, space/resources are still a concern while progressing through the regular game mode, so I just want a regular, circular AC for the time being. and there wasn't enough space for the big one because of my wall. After much frustration, I figured out it was because I had dividers in the room, and apparently there are two different alien containments (a circular one and an elongated one that takes up twice as much space). but when I went to build it, I couldn't get it tto work at all. I was planning on putting an alien containment in a large room and thought I had checked to make sure it worked (I was planning it in my mind for several days but hadn't gotten around to actually building all the pieces of the new base). You’ll want to see that the temperature and humidity are stable for at least 12 hours before setting eggs. If the humidity is wrong, again, you can have chicks that don’t develop or hatch properly.Ĥ8 hours before you begin incubating your chicken eggs, set up the incubator and get all of its vital measurements stabilized. If it’s too low, it can impact development negatively. If your temperature is over a few degrees, your eggs will die and you’ll be in for a sad time. Don’t cut corners here – doing so can result in dead embryos. It’s not like cooking a frozen pizza in an oven that hasn’t been preheated yet! You want to make sure each of the fundamentals of incubating a chicken egg is spot on. Never start your incubator and immediately set eggs. Once your incubator has been disinfected, it’s time to get it set up. If it has a funky odor, clean it again using the above protocol. The incubator should be dry and should smell clean before you set eggs. Once it’s been cleaned, allow it to sit in a protected spot for 12-24 hours. A slightly damp cloth or a brush is the ideal way to clean the heating unit.
It takes a particular build to pull off underwear that's shorter in length.īriefs will put a lot of pressure on a man who isn't in fantastic shape. Sadly not everybody has the physique of a Calvin Klein model or a professional athlete. Granted, that was a few years back, and most of them could be brawnier these days. The guys of One Direction all agreed that they would rather wear boxers. Since they resemble shorts, they also make the lower body look bigger.īoxers help adjust the slight disproportions for those on the skinny side. Boxers – Loose Around The LegsĪs a grown man, you may want underwear that's a little more padded and dresses your thighs up. In short, gents – boxer briefs cover up all manner of sins. If you think you've got matchstick legs, boxer briefs won't highlight that fact. Unlike briefs, they don't highlight the pain points of a man's body image. They make your legs look more muscular and trim, helping to hide that excess weight you might be carrying at the tops of your thighs.īut what about skinnier guys who have the opposite problem? Boxer briefs can help you too. They're like lean shorts that give your legs that extra sex appeal for the ladies. Boxer Briefs – The Best Of Both Worldsīoxer briefs are the hybrid option when it comes to the three different types of underwear. Your body type is a significant factor – is your belly a little round or flat? Do you have larger or skinny thighs? Your proportions are nothing to be ashamed of, but you need to know which types of men's underwear will suit your frame. There are certain things to consider when researching the different types of men's underwear. You guessed it – that's what I'm covering in today's article. Getting it right isn't rocket science! You only need a basic understanding of the three different types of men's underwear: briefs, boxers, and boxer briefs. It's only underwear – who cares, right? But how many guys suffer discomfort and long-term problems from cheap, unsupportive underwear? It could turn women off and ruin a perfect end to your date night. It could lead to all sorts of problems down there.Wearing the wrong underwear style for your body can cause two big problems: |
